This is a two-layer mat featuring a durable vinyl-nitril surface polymerically bonded to a resilient vinyl nitrile foam cushion using an exclusive adhesive-free UniBond manufacturing process. This creates a more durable wear layer making this mat slip-resistant in both wet and dry conditions.
Offered in black with pebbled or diamond surface options
MAINTENANCE
Apply rubbing alcohol [Isopropyl Alcohol/IPA] to the surface of the flexible PV product, wipe clean with a paper towel, and allow to air dry.
Where applicable, a mild detergent or soap used with warm water can also be used to clean flexible PVC products. Once clean, allow the material to air dry, either removing any excess water/moisture with an absorbent cloth, or shaking smaller mats and allowing excess water to run off the larger roll goods.
CAUTION: Flexible vinyl products are slippery when wet. They are not recommended for use in areas/environments that are constantly wet.
Ensure that both the mat and the floor surface are both completely dry before placing the mat back on the floor. If one or the other or both are not completely dry, the plasticizer can interact with nitrocellulose lacquer (used on older wood floors) or various floor waxes and other cleaning agents (used to clean tile, resilient vinyl flooring, and marble floors, etc.), in a process generally referred to as “lacquer mar”. This can cause the lacquer or wax to soften, resulting in a marred surface. To avoid such complications, ensure that both the mat and floor are completely dry.
DO NOT USE HEAT of any kind to dry PVC materials. Though inherently flame resistant, Polyvinyl Chloride products will burn when given enough exposure to open flame or other heat sources of sufficient temperature-regardless of type or amount of flame retardant(s) added to the formulation.
AVOID: Halogens, concentrated Oxidizing Agents, Ethers, Ketones, and Low-Molecular Weight Solvents derived from the Ether and Ketones families. They include (but are not limited to) TetraHydroFuran (THF), Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Methyl IsoButyl Ketone (MIBK) and Acetone. These chemicals will mar and/or destroy the surface of the PVC product (the Ketones), react with (Oxidizing Agents), or actually dissolve it (THF and other Ethers).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the AirLift Plus Stain Guard Anti-Fatigue Mat designed for?
It is designed to provide anti-fatigue comfort and long-lasting durability for workers who stand for extended periods in commercial and industrial environments, including nursing stations, grocery store registers, hotel check-in counters, and retail checkout counters.
What makes the AirLift Plus Stain Guard different from standard foam mats?
It features a two-layer construction with a durable vinyl-nitrile surface polymerically bonded to a resilient vinyl nitrile foam cushion using an exclusive adhesive-free UniBond manufacturing process, creating a more durable wear layer than traditional foam matting.
Is the AirLift Plus Stain Guard mat slip-resistant?
Yes, the integrated slip-resistant wear layer provides traction in both wet and dry conditions, though the mat is not recommended for areas that are constantly wet.
What surface options and colors are available?
The mat is offered in black with either a pebbled or diamond surface texture.
What sizes does the AirLift Plus Stain Guard come in?
It is available in a wide range of sizes starting at 3' x 2', with custom sizing also available, including 60' rolls in 3' x 60' and 4' x 60' options at a 1/2" height.
How do I clean the AirLift Plus Stain Guard mat?
Apply rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol/IPA) to the surface, wipe clean with a paper towel, and allow it to air dry. A mild detergent or soap with warm water can also be used, followed by thorough air drying.
Are there any cleaning products or chemicals I should avoid?
Avoid halogens, concentrated oxidizing agents, ethers, ketones, and low-molecular weight solvents such as acetone, MEK, and THF, as these can mar or destroy the PVC surface. Never use heat of any kind to dry the mat.
