The need to protect employees and equipment from the harmful effects of electrostatic discharge is a reality for many manufacturing environments. That’s why placing ESD protection matting – or electrostatic matting – on the floor is so essential. Our ESD matting works by drawing the static charge to the ground, effectively protecting electronic components from damage and potential data loss, while also keeping employees safe.

Safety Volt Smooth Electrical Work Safety Mat conforms to MIL SPEC. MIL-DTL-155626. This Specification is approved for use by all interested Commands of the Department of the Navy and the Marine Corps and is available for use by all other Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.This smooth surface is fire-retardant, electrically insulating matting used as a portable runner in front of equipment and on workbenches.

MAINTENANCE
When cleaning ESD mats, it is important to sweep or dry-mop the surface regularly. Also wet-mop or wipe off with mild soap or a static-control cleaning solution that will not leave a residue. This will allow the mat to continue to function efficiently. 
 
CUSTOM SIZES
Available in individual custom sized mats or 75' rolls (2' x 75, 3' x 75' and 4' x 75'). The 1/8” is available in black, gray and blue.
