WorkStep Industrial Grease Resistant and General Purpose Work Safety Mat

Designed with holes in mat to allow fluids to drain away from the work area. The nibs on the bottom of mat elevate above the surface to allow drainage of fluids away from the mat. Cushion support reduces fatigue and helps prevent accidents. Lighter weight for easier handling and cleaning.  Beveled edges increase safety by reducing tripping.

MAINTENANCE
General cleaning instructions
Remove the mat. Take the mat outside to clean it away from the interior floor.

Rinse off loose debris. Use a hose with a spray nozzle to rinse off loose dirt, debris, and any spills. You can use a pressure washer but keep the pressure below 500 psi and the water temperature below 160°F to avoid damage.

Scrub with a mild detergent. Use a deck brush or a stiff-bristle brush with a mild, pH-neutral soap or dish detergent. For best results, scrub both sides of the mat. Focus on the drainage holes, as this is where grease and grime can build up.

Rinse thoroughly. Hose off the mat again to remove all soap and residue.

Let it dry completely. Hang the mat on a rack or let it air-dry on a flat surface. Ensure the mat is completely dry before placing it back on the floor to prevent mold and mildew growth. 

Avoid harsh chemicals. Do not use aggressive cleaners, degreasers, steam, or caustic chemicals, as these can damage the mat.

Don't machine-wash. Never put your mat in a washing machine or mechanically scrub it.

Prevent slip hazards. Do not apply any wax or polishing products to the mat's surface, as this can create a slippery film.

Available in 3’ x 5’, 3’ x 10’, 3’ x 15’ and 3’ x 20’  in grease-resistant red or general-purpose black.

Recommended uses:

Red (Grease-Resistant) - restaurants, assembly lines, or anywhere grease and water are present and traction is required. 

Black (General Purpose) - restaurants, cooking, dishwashing, assembly lines, or anywhere water is present and traction is required.
